Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel and a scenic tuk tuk ride into the peaceful countryside of Bentota. Travel along quiet backroads lined with coconut palms, lush greenery, and paddy fields as your guide shares insights into village life. Stop at a coconut fiber factory to see how coir products are made by hand, and visit an ancient Buddhist temple rich in cultural heritage. Then, visit a cinnamon plantation to learn about spice cultivation and continue to a rubber estate to witness the traditional milk extraction process. Along the way, observe daily farming practices and local crafts. Optionally, visit a sea turtle hatchery and, if timing allows, release baby turtles into the ocean for a memorable finish.
