Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel and a scenic drive through the southern countryside to Athukorala Tea Plantation. Upon arrival, a guide will lead you through lush, low-grown tea fields while explaining the harvesting techniques and how elevation affects flavor. Then, tour the factory to witness the traditional processes of withering, rolling, fermenting, drying, and grading.
